This worked perfect. We had to finesse it a bit since we have a taller side-opening window, but my husband made it work and I modified the insert so we could cover the open area. I also put contact paper on the insert to keep the sun out. Overall, worth the money.

Ordered this unit with a promised 3 day delivery date and received it 6 days later. When I opened the box the styrofoam surrounding the top of the ac unit was broken into many pieces. Upon removing the top box i noticed the right side of the AC was badly dented as if it was dropped. I called customer service and all the could offer me was 10% off coupon for the next available ac I wanted to purchase from them in the future since they were out of stock on the ac unit I ordered. I asked if they would discount the unit instead of me returning (since I was in the mist of a heatwave) and all they could offer was $90.00 discount which is not enough for a $460.00 value. This is the second item that did not meet my expectations and I had to return. Extremely dissapointed.
