We love the base now that it has beem repaired, but we were disappointed to find how easily it chips. No one dropped anything of any significant weight on it, yet it chipped like an eggshell in one particular place. Fortunately, Kohler sent someone to repair it promptly. We just hope it's not that easily chipped again.

I cannot be more pleased. It was pricier than I was expecting, but I’m putting in granite walls and I wanted something high-end. While I was able to take the old shower pan out by myself, putting it in was definitely a two-man job. This thing is a beast, but it is absolutely dropdead gorgeous. The installation was easier than I expected. Here’s a tip, don’t throw away those six cardboard blocks that come with it. They aren’t for shipping. They’re needed for the installation. Read the instructions before you throw anything away!

I had high expectations when I purchased this shower base. Honestly, it was heavier and more substantial than anticipated. It was also beautiful and looked and felt very high-end.
