Super quick to assemble! They accidentally sent the wrong color but were very kind about it. I decided to keep the color since i had already brought it up 3 flights of nyc stairs

This is a terrific minimalist and elegant bed frame. The frame is really easy to put together, but it is easiest to have two people to put the pieces together in the right order. The wood is solid and nicely stained (walnut color). The slats are held in place with canvas straps that connect the slats and Velcro along the edges, so they don’t slide around. I took one star off because the legs in the support bar down the middle were shorter than the legs at the corners. I filled in the gap with double thickness of sticky felt pads. Also, the upright on one of the side bars was cracked, but I just put a little glue in the crack to repair it. I don’t think it will affect the solidity or function of the bed. The wood used in the frame is a fine-grained wood that is heavier than pine. Maybe poplar

Id have said more 4.5 stars The frame is beautiful, genuine solid hardwood! Really easy to assemble, even just myself alone. It arrived fairly quickly and packaged well. My only real issue is that the frame is Tall. I typically like my bed to hover around 24 ish off the floor. As isI had to put all my adjustable bases height legs on. Meaning can adjust height with unscrewing legs. Brownie points which is Huge. It does more than adequately allow for my full function King size adjustable base! Just wish it was a little bit shorter. As is my frame mattress sit at 32 Tall. Which, Im 62 so not a biggie. But my bf is well more height Challenged at 57 AND a HALF LOL!

This bed was so easy to assemble! My teenage son had put it together himself. The wood is beautiful, and I like that the corners are rounded off. The joints stack together in a grooved cross pattern which helps keep it sturdy for when wood contracts or expands in different weather conditions.

Fits together well and easily. It does help to have 2 people, but that is true for most jobs. Very quiet, no squeaking. Also love the minimalist style.
