I am really happy with the look of the fireplace mantel and insert. The title suggests its solid wood and Id agree that parts are. However, the top was chipped and was not solid wood underneath. It appeared to be some kind of composite. It also smells terrible days later after putting together

5 stars , absolutely love this Victorian electric fireplace. We have a circa 1847 Victorian home . We ordered this in WHITE, but added our own touches sprayed it black, added gold highlights, painted the firebox gold, and added marble paper to the top of the mantle. Heat works great , it’s a wonderful fireplace. We highly recommend it.

I was so happy with 50 in Electric fireplace mantel. It was easy to assemble, if my husband could do it any one can. It was very rich looking.I put it in my bedroom. It completely changed the look for the better.
