I usually never give one star reviews on Wayfair, but these railings have been a living nightmare. My husband, who used to work at a hardware store has spent the past week trying to make these work after driving holes in our stairs. I specifically bought this product because it was one of the few railings that fit might narrow stairs from the original 1940s home. The dimensions listed on the product are 8 12 inches. My stairs are 9 inches wide and this product does not fit. The dimensions listed on the website failed to include the two base squares, which is a huge oversight. They are attractive, but they all get banged up given the difficult spacing and hitting of the bolts and drill. I would not recommend these for narrow indoor stairs. Additionally, the black bolts come with the white product which is mismatched and ugly. They black bolts were insult to injury but the main issue is the incorrect dimensions.

Nice weight and will be great as a safety barrier in my loft. Looks beautiful too. I plan to install several of this in my tiny house loft.
