I’m generally happy with this set, especially considering the price point. Assembly took under 2 hours for both, and the instructions were straightforward. The oak finish looks great in person, and the wood grain is impressively realistic. It looks like a thin veneer, and the pattern has a convincing, natural appearance that fits right in with my other natural wood and neutral decor. The reed pattern on the drawers adds a nice touch of texture. The built-in outlets and USB ports are super convenient , and the unit looks sleek and minimalist just like the photos.
There are a few drawbacks that made me give this 4 instead of 5 stars:
Drawer Alignment: Both tables had the same issue where the top drawer leans slightly to the right. This seems like a design flaw rather than an assembly error, so it might be common with this model. On one of mine, the top drawer also doesn’t sit totally flush with the rest of the frame when viewed from the side.
Weight and Stability: The units are fairly lightweight, which makes them easy to move and assemble, but contributes to an issue with the push to open drawers. While they function well, the nightstand isn’t heavy enough to stay put if you’re not pressing it against the wall. If your nightstands are away from the wall at all, they’ll move when you try to open the drawers, so you’ll want to keep them flush against the wall for best results.
Despite these minor issues, I still think this set is a good value for the price. The modern look, attractive wood grain, and practical charging ports make them a great value. If you’re looking for stylish, affordable nightstands and don’t mind keeping them against the wall, I’d recommend these!
