Update….. The charging port stopped working after 2 months. I gave this bed only three stars, not because of the quality, but because of the description. First, let me just say my son loves the bed. He actually put it together himself. The directions were clear and it appears to be of great quality. He loves having the shelving in the headboard as well as the outlet. An added bonus is the lighting underneath the bed. Now, about the description. I needed a king bed and thought that’s what I was getting since it said “King platform bed.” Once my son put it together, we realized it was a queen size bed. Apparently, “king platform” was the name of the bed, not the size. This was very misleading and now I have to get a whole new mattress to fit it because my son loves the bed so much, he’s sleeping on it with a king size mattress that hangs over the bed. Great bed but poor description!

It took 1 1/2 hour to put together. On scale of 1 to 10 it was a 3 to put together. Its sturdy as long as my son do not jump on it but the directions that come with the bed says not to jump on it will break. I am not sure how if it is a metal bed. The plugs work and the lights around bed work too. Comes with a light controller to change lights, my son loves that! He also like the power outlet, he can plug his phone right there.

The king platform bed frame with open storage head board is quite massive . It is perfect for the master suite bedroom. The l.e.d strings give off ambient light so even with the lights off you wont trip.

This headboard at first glance seems lighter than advertised but is actually exactly what its supposed to be its just the angle and lighting. The power outlet and charging ports on the top make access convenient

worst purchase ever, screw holes are not aligned even. total waste of money. not recommended at all. waste of time and money
