I love that its not plastic. It looks nice . Its decorative. My cat seems to like it also. Its wide enough so his whiskers are clear if the bowl. My cat is a little tall and big, so it would be perfect for a smaller cat. I may place it on top of something. The holder for the saucer is appealing.

I ordered this pet bowl for our cat since she's getting older and may need reduced neck strain. It's so much prettier in person! Kitty, as finicky as she is, decided she loved it from the moment I set it in front of her. The bowl height is just under 3", which seems perfect for her. The metal is rust-proof and it's easy to clean. I give it 5 stars.

The bowl looks bigger in the picture. It only holds a little bit of food. Its also a little crooked. Its easy to put together. There is the black holder and then the dish. You can use the dosh without the holder
