Way too small for anything but maybe a hamster. I can not recommend this cage for any purpose other than that. And it wouldn’t even work for that purpose because the tray is so small it wouldn’t work well even for a hamster since they need very thick bedding to burrow in. I bought 2 of them and it was a waste!

This small animal home was far better than expected. It is gorgeous and very functional by allowing ample storage under. The tray comes up to keep moisture from going over the sides, although small animals could kick paper bedding over the side. It is a really easy to clean dwelling. We have tried lots of different systems for guinea pigs in the past, this has been by far the best. We have two guinea pigs (they are on the smaller side) in this home, and they love it. It really makes them feel safe and secure knowing that they can watch the world go by without anything getting at them through traditional bar type cages.

This cage was easy to put together nicely made! Outstanding play and living area for larger hamster, and the closet area below is ample space to store the animal’s food and bedding! Great way to clean cage only by sliding out the tray below where the animal’s food droppings go. So much easier!

Actually pretty decent size fits in with the rest of the furniture. Perfect size for 2 guinea pigs!
