Have two of these and work great for a small flock of bantams or young chickens

Nice little coop for our silkies!

Package was shipped in two boxes. One got very lost and took awhile to get to me but at least all the pieces were intact. Weatherproofed the entire coop, hoping it will help it last a little longer. Wood is somewhat flimsy and will split - we chose to reinforce it early on. The ramp is hard for my chickens to stand on or try to walk on so I needed to add some traction tape. Overall the coop works well for my six 8-10 week old chicks. We built a very large 75 square foot run to attach so the small coop size isn’t a big deal. I foresee that I will need to modify and expand the coop when they are full grown.

Good if you got one or two chickens if you have anything more than that, they’ll just break it apart

Less than a year later and this coop is falling apart. It is cheaply made. The ramp into the coop broke multiple times and was repaired. The wood eventually split into multiple pieces. On the hunt for a new coop. Cute but would not buy again.

Overall I really like it. I spent quite a bit of time researching coop run combos and I do love the look of this one. I had to make some modifications. I raised the roosting bar in the coop so the hens wouldn’t sleep in the nesting boxes and I added some carribeaner locking locks on each door plus hard cloth on the bottom to predator proof. I’m nervous that the metal netting it comes with isn’t strong enough but only time will tell.

So well made! Takes a while to put together and even longer to paint. You don’t have to paint it if you don’t want to.

Perfect little coop. Came together super easily with one person - needed a second set of hands for the final assembly and for installing the hardware. Really impressed with the quality and manufacturing!!! I added extra hardware that locks and reinforced the hardware cloth on the inside of the coop for maximum chicken security. I have 6 full sized ladies, and probably wouldn’t add any more to this coop, but it could probably fit 6 bantams. Really happy and the chooks seem to love it.

The coop is okay. Putting it together was not an issue, fairly easy. Yes, it is flimsy, and yes sometimes the screws don’t align. I would say every prefab coop in the same price range will have these issues. The roof joints were particularly bad in the coop I got, but wayfair was reasonable in providing an additional discount. This allowed me to get a few items to patch up the issue. Pros - Very good price for a starter coop. If you’re new to chickens, I believe it is essential to have a starter coop before building your own. You will know exactly what to do for your build after having worked through this stater coop! - good size for my 4 full size chickens, I would NOT put more than 4 full size in there. - our coop made it through Hillary without issues, so extra bonus points for that There are a lot more pros! This is a nice and solid starter coop for a small flock. Once we upgrade I will use for newcomers, infirmary, maternity ward… Cons - just wish the roosting bars were higher than the nesting boxes!!! Definitely need to make some changes to raise the roosts - as per most prefab coops I had to change All hardware - sometimes I do get concerned that the hardware cloth is not strong enough Overall nice coop
