Cats love it until someone chooses to lie on top instead of in, but they still use it for a while. It gets so it doesn't stay open. If you have a cool house in the winter and get this for one cat that sleeps in it, it's great to hold body heat. You can even add a small throw or baby blanket inside for a small cat.
