Defective. Leaks everywhere and cannot be repaired even by a professional plumber because it’s a manufacturing defect.

Sturdy. The sides are sharp edges. I plan to “file” those and round them. Drain pipe is flimsy and too low for hook up. Replace it with metal and PVC drain pipe and it will be great!

After some additional purchases and slight modifications I’m happy with the dog bath. Plumbing was leaky and redundant in that there was a separate fixture for faucet, sprayer and water onoff which meant more lines to have an issue with. Water pressure on sprayer was “ok” not great. The sprayer leaked and switch was hard to keep on. The tub sits on the base and there are thumb screws that are supposed to secure it to the base, but when you tighten them the tub raises up. Doesn’t hold it as securely as I’d like. Would be helpful in my opinion if the “legs” that fit into the base had holes in them to accept the thumb screws. The whole unit is heavy and stable so long as the feet are level. I purchased an “all in one” faucet and installed it after widening the hole on the deck. I also had to get a few hole covers since I was no longer using the extra sprayer and faucet holes. Also purchased a dryer hose to attach to the existing drain hose for more length and purchased an outdoor loveseat cover (which fit perfectly) since our tub is outside. With these modifications the tub is great.
