Our kitties loooooove their new tree and so do we. It has a much more pleasant footprint than the giant capet covered thing we had. Bonus They literally climb it like a tree and chase each other around on the branches.

My cat loves it! She climbed to the top right after it was installed. The tree itself is very sturdy and looks great. You’ll most likely need two people to assemble it.

There are no predrilled holes for the baskets you have to do that yourself. When putting it together the directions are terrible barely visible. The tree itself is pure wood which I thought would be great but the inserts for the screws stripped out when tightening them together. I just pinned it down with some bricks so tight that it won’t move but the cats love it.

This is excellent, nice looking and very solid. As other reviews have noted, it does require a power drill to secure the basket rims. Also, getting the top "tension rod" component assembled and in place was a bit tricky and required a ladder for 8-foot ceilings, but I was able to get it in place by myself, it looks great, and it's extremely sturdy. My cats (8-12 lbs) love it and I was happy I didn't have to drill into my walls or ceiling. Also, it looks so much nicer and makes cleaning around it far easier than the typical "cat hotel" with carpeting and a square base (see comparison in photo).
