This terrible awful cage was not designed for reptiles particularly not snakes. Because of the poor design of the door our snake a $350 African file snake was able to push her way through the plastic opening of the front of the door, which requires little or no resistance. No substrate can be placed in this cage without reaffirming the cage with a piece of acrylic because the trackway then accumulates dirt. The prevents the door from opening or closing. This is absolutely the least functional thing I have ever purchased from Wayfair or anyone else I cannot strongly say enough, how much I feel that should not be sold to consumers who have snakes and or reptiles this if at best is a piece of display furniture at the very least, but certainly not appropriate for Reptiles or animals please do not buy this. We are now unable to find our snake and we’re desperately looking for it in our home as I write this note.

Item plastic was scratched so badly you can’t even see through the glass, missing pieces and broke and quality is very poor.

First off, the tank area is not sealed. A horizontal board is all that separates the tank from the storage cabinet below and there are gaps around the edges. Any dirt, feeder bugs, or even my lizard's legs could fit through the cracks. I had to spend more money on aquarium sealant to even make it usable. I also don't think the wood material is meant to handle moisture. I added a cabinet liner before the soil to try to protect it. There is no lip at the front, so when you open the doors dirt is constantly falling out. Not only does this make a giant mess, but the dirt also falls into the tracks for the doors and makes it impossible to close it completely. The metal piece for the lock scrapes against the sliding doors and has made it hard to see through within just a few weeks. I am VERY unhappy with this terrarium. Unfortunately I am past the 30 day return window so I am stuck with it. I ended up giving up and buying another terrarium from the pet store. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Not as big as I thought it’d be. And missing screw holes. How do u put wet substrate on plywood!!!!

I purchased this for my granddaughter, she is very pleased
