My cats wanted to start using as soon as I started opening the package. Initially I thought they were more interested in the box it came in but as soon as I started putting together I knew it was a good purchse. Not as sturdy as I expected but I will definite get my moneys worth with use.

Very easy to set up. It took a couple of days for the cats to understand how to use it and now they love to sit on top and scratch it.

I didn’t realize how short 18.5” were. That’s the total height. Scratching posts are only about 12” and not very wide around. My adult cat would have toppled this. That, plus the fact that it had a terrible chemical odor. Returned it even though I had to pay for shipping I would definitely NOT recommend
