Traversin Mink Napper

My pup loves this bed! We ordered a size up because sometimes he curls up, sometimes he sprawls out. The quality is great, it's sturdy yet plush. We are already big fans!

If there is something less than 1 star, let’s go for that. The product summary said it was washable, but it didn’t say that only the bolster was washable, not the bed. THAT is what needs to be washable. I spent countless hours HAND washing it to combat the normal accumulation of dirt from our pup’s play and vomit. Oh, and if you WANT to wash the bolster, you unzip it, and pull out several bags of stuffing. When you TRY to put the bags back in you are left with a deformed bolster. Our dog redesigned his bed before he was a year old, and it isn’t like he doesn’t get a lot of play, chew toys, bones, and treats. I think by being unwashable the bed holds the smell of everything that has ever been on it making it just one big disgusting looking treat!

I was determined to buy made in the USA. It took twice as long to get here and cost twice as much, but the quality is unsurpassed. Thick, plush and all seams tight. I've had dogs all my life and purchased lots of beds, mostly made in China, which were thin, flimsy, lumpy and ended up falling apart after a few washings. My little rescue loves to sleep under the table while she waits for her off the table dinner treat and she just looks like she has found heaven in this bed. So much so that I have found her sleeping there when it's not dinner time.

The fabric seems very durable and the pattern is versatile. Our pup loves it. We often find her lounging in it. A little pricey, but I try to only buy items that are pleasing to the eye as well as extremely functional. This checks both for me. We’ve purchased Jax&Bones before. The other bed is 5 years old and still without a snag or tear.
