Love it! I put it out inside the house for the first time at 8:30 am and it's still nice cold water at 9 hours later. I didn't try adding the 1" of water in the bottom of the bowl for extra time - I wanted to see how long it worked without it. The lowest temperature I measured was 2 hours later at 39 degrees. I want a smaller one for the vehicle though, as my dog does SAR and is in the back of car for long periods. This is enormous.

While it is bigger than I wanted, it works very well. Our pup has decided she wants only cold water. Ice cubes melt quick. This keeps her water cold all day.

We are rotating two of these bowls for outside use during the prolonged heat wave. They really keep the water cool for a long time in the shade.
