My elderly dog loved this bed. Not just for the comforting heat . But, she loved to place her head on the outside rim, like a pillow. Although this was a good looking dog bed , it didn't hold up. After only having it maybe 6 months, taking it apart to wash it just twice the inner zipper that held the lining material for the rim/ arms broke. This made it impossible to get it back into place and from that point on the rim drooped so bad, I had to throw the whole bed away . Alot of money for a piece of crap.

Love this dog bed but puppies have chewed stuffing out of bolster on side.
