I bought this stroller in November 2012 (and it wasn't cheap). I needed transport to take my two cats to and from the vet's once a year and possible trips to visit my parents. On the third use, the top rod broke off where it was welded. Having already read many negative comments about the Kittywalk company, I didn't expect to receive any satisfaction. I was not disappointed! The Kittywalk representative suggested I could be lying and the carrier breaking while in use, and I may have really dropped the stroller down a flight of stairs! She then offered to sell me a replacement carrier. REALLY!!! Having already bought one shoddy product, they actually expected me to purchase another. In retrospect, neither of my cats was hurt or (God forbid) killed by this particular Kittywalk product. I should mention that I followed all instructions and guidelines for the product (Kittywalk is fond of implying the consumer is at fault for its product's poor performance). Do yourself a favor and avoid this company's products like the plague.
