This cat tree looks nice--and could work for a young, nimble cat. The problem for large or older cats is the 3rd "level," it's just a tiny piece of wood. It's too small for my cat to navigate and there's nothing for him to sink his claws in to hold on to. It was easy to put together, but that doesn't really matter if your cat can't use it.

Unfortunately, my cats would not use this. The cat tree rocked and made noises every time the cats jumped on it. In addition, it would be nice to have some type of cushioning on the two bottom levels; otherwise they are slippery and hard. It was too difficult to get back in box and too expensive to ship back, so I am giving it to someone else.
