product good enough. Fed Ex Bad

The product came delivered broken and is not the product I ordered. There is no scratching element and the whole top piece is not correctly attached! Random screws in the top piece , not safe!

I LOVE this cat tree and actually own 2 of them now. However, they both have a propensity to tip over so I bought landscaping blocks to set on the base to prevent that. It looks tacky but it does the trick. I've owned a lot of cat trees over the years and have learned what my fellas really like are enclosed perches where they can curl up and not worry about falling off. This one has plenty big circular beds at multiple levels which are easy to get up and down from. Even my old guy can get to the top. A lot of times cat trees aren't designed for function like that. This one is. Mine arrived with part of it hanging out of the very large box but thankfully it wasn't damaged. You DO need to screw in the top perch with the 4 screws provided. It was a little challenging lining it up exactly centered but I finally got it after measuring and moving it back and forth multiple times. Would love if the base was heavier but like I said, I've got it stable now and wish I could come up with better visual solution.

Very solid and easy to assemble. No worries about my 15 lb cat tipping it over when he jumps up!

Made of real wood covered with carpet. Cats love the sisal rope on post to scratch on. I had to reposition one shelf to be in line with a cat’s ability to get from shelf to shelf. Creaters need to consider staggering the alignment of shelves so a cat can approach them reasonably.
