This is going to come in so much handy! One of my four dogs is notorious for scratching at the door. He’s made it dirty and scratched repeatedly to where it’s a constant thing I have to clean and “touch up.” Now I won’t have to worry about that! I love it. When I put it on he sniffed it then cowered lol. Like he knew he couldn’t scratch anymore!

Love the door accessory. I wish I had a before picture where my dog lets me know when she wants back in the house. This covers her scratches beautifully. I had to get my husband to trim about an eighth of a inch off to fit good but I love it.

My dogs scratch at my front door when they hear us coming home so when I saw this I immediately ordered it. I chose the 4 inch wide one without really thinking, I think I should of ordered the larger one. The item came well packaged and it had a protective film on the black part for protection I suppose. Installation was simple, there is sticky tape on the back, just peel the cover off and stick it on. It’s held up well so far and I don’t see any scratches on it so so far so good. I wish they had one for the door frame, as you can see from my picture that’s where most of the damage is.

Simply the best invention, ever! Fits perfectly next to the pet door that was installed. The tape on the back sticks super well! I had really bad scratches dug into the door, this hides them and prevents any more damage to the door. I love that you can buy different sizes and colors, also. The package shipped super fast and it was protected and secure from bending or damage. I love the personal note and family photo in the package from deck the door decor! I love the idea of the Action Pet Door Accessory. It is an attractive addition to a door that is abused by our well loved fur babies. One of my Pomeranians is a rescue and suffers from separation anxiety whenever I leave the house. Unfortunately our door leading to the garage receives the most damage from his nails. The plate hopefully will save the door from further scratching. My only reason for not allowing five stars is due to the limited sizes available, either they were too long to allow me to use the kick plate with it, or they were too short or narrow for most doors. I would also suggest a magnetic option in lieu of the double face tape for affixing it to the door to allow cleaning and painting with ease.
