I highly recommend these stairs. Our sweet aging cat has arthritis and started needing help getting up and down out of his favorite window. These stairs are a perfect addition to his quality of life - he's maintaining some independence and can sit in the window even when we're not home. Also, even though we have a single story house, he took to them immediately - there was learning curve at all.
