I ordered this ramp for my car, but I thought I would be able to use it in my house as well. I think it will work really well for my car, but it doesn’t quite work in my house. I like that it’s compact and folds. I don’t like that you just “lean it” up next to where ever you want to use it. It doesn’t have anything to latch it in or secure it. I have a small dachshund so it isn’t really an issue for me but if you had a bigger dog I would be scared that it might rock or fall over if you weren’t holding the ramp.

I’ve been looking for a ramp that my dogs can use to get in to our truck. Jumping out is the easy part, It’s quite a step for our 10 year old GSD, and way too high for our 130 pound GSD. I have bought several other brands but they just do the job. This dog ramp is exactly what I needed. You’ll notice in the pictures that I have two ways of doing based on our dogs. I put the top part in the floorboard area of the truck… That’s for the older dog. Then I lowered the dog ramp to our trucks running board for the bigger dog and he steps right up into the floorboard from there. Stays in place as the top rests on the carpet and also on running g board. I love that I can fold it in half and store easily, as we take it camping. It has a nice clip on the side to keep it locked. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend.
