A little bigger than I expected

So cute! It’s made well and my feral cats and wildlife love it!

The design is very attractive, but the house itself is not a ready to go outdoor shelter. The wood is thin, it is not insulated, and needs repainted on the outside in order to survive the elements here in Ohio. I am painting it and going to insulate it with reflectix insulation and will caulk it once I put it together. It has saved me from building one from scratch. If you used this indoors it would be fine. It has some nice features like a hinged roof to open for cleaning and an escape door. I'm hoping the roof does not leak as others have noted with a similar design. As is I cannot give it a higher rating.

Takes about an hour to put together and would go faster if you have a second person. Many of the pieces don’t have pre-drilled holes, so it’s a bit more difficult to assemble and keep everything square. It is flimsy and a few pieces of wood had cracks. I used silicone caulk to seal corners and seams so no air would seep in. Overall, a nice cat house for my outdoor feral Calico — if she ever goes in it!

It's adorable. Haven't put it to use yet but will be using it when the weather gets colder. It is just what we needed. It took an hour plus to put it together. All the parts were there....and so were the directions.
