This was a great purchase! There are different textures - carpet, rope, yarn Pom Pom on string, plastic leaves that are bendable (a nice plastic). I am really happy with it and more importantly my two cats are as well! Only recommendation to buyers - the rope scratcher part was a little shiny/smooth at first but I just kind of scratched it myself a bit and then the cats really started using the scratch part. Very happy with purchase and Wayfair had the best price!
