Dégivreur 100W Doro Thermo-Pond noir

My previous deicer quit working this winter so first ongoing freeze my pond frozen over. New one in pond worked keeping opening when next cold snap came.

This is my 3rd one and I wouldn't buy anything else.

We have been using heaters of this type for more than five years. Great product, great quality!

This is the second pond de-icer I bought, and the first one lasted several years! However, last winter, it broke and, since I had no idea that it did, it wiped out all of my 15 goldfish and several frogs!! I suggest you add a light indicator to future units!

This heater works in the worst weather to keep open air supply to pond, keeping fish alive and letting birds and wildlife and feral cats have a source of drinking water. It needs to be replaced every few years but I suppose that is because it works in such hard conditions. One very good feature is that it will melt through the ice overnight if you don't put it in soon enough or it has to be replaced in midwinter. I had another type before this that used much more electricity and was much harder to clean in spring. You just wipe this off with scrubby sponge. This is my 4th or 5th one. I am very satisfied.
