Followed the instructions and the pullets caught on after 2 weeks and learned to push the pedal down to access their feed. Very simple and works well!

A little loud………otherwise good product.

So far so good. I’m glad there is a graduated level with the lid so the chickens can slowly get used to it. They seem to be good with the lid being constantly open. Next level is it being half way open so the lid opens slightly wider, it makes bit of a noise when you step on the treadle plate but I know that is normal. I will see how they handle that. Holds a good amount of feed and seems pretty sturdy. Glad I purchased it.

Really great, just smaller than I was thinking. I had one that was double the size before. But it does hold 20 lbs of feed which is enough for our 8 chickens for now. We can always add another later.
