2nd one now! Converted to a smaller chicken coop. 1 for my quail, the 2nd will be a bird aviary! These are the best designs for our needs here. Built strong and durable. My current one withstood hurricane Milton! (East Central Florida here). I just wish I could order a 2nd rainfly for the roof. That would be so much nicer.

This structure is flimsy and I am going to brace the roof as the first heavy snowfall may cave the roof in in the center. I live in Michigan and can get 8-10" at one shot so keeping snow off the roof will be a must. This will be on my deck by my willow tree hoping it will block some wind and snow. It's for some feral kittens that got dumped by their mom. predators. Cat shelters inside and keep their food away from raccoons, coyotes and other preditors. Instructions were ok till I got to the roof and they need to be more detailed. I braced the roof pieces across the center because it was like a wet noodle and flopped everywhere when you attempted to lift it for any reason much less putting it on the roof. I called the cat lady neighbor with her husband, her and my husband wound up putting the panels on one at a time. NOTE one roof panel is shorter then the other (left side) and rounded so when you screw the peak together it fits up under the right side of the roof. The instructions make it look like you assemble it then put it on but we soon realized that wouldn't work for us. So we first put on the left side screwed the ends in place while they supported it from the inside then added the black hinges. That side was braced so next we added the right side then had my husband holding the floppy panels inside from caving in (i recommend bracing both sides first then screwed in the end panels. Then alined the shorter curved end to the other peak roof side and the neighbors tall husband screwed the roof screws in for me. We then added the small black hinges along the lower roof panels to the lower panels to secure them. Tomorrow I'll put the peak hinges on it got too dark.
