Hatchett Scratching Post

Our cat loves it & that's all that matters

It is sturdy and tall but the picture and what was received are totally different. From the bottom of the post to about 6 inches from the top is a basket weave with the sisal material. I think the cats might use it but not at all what was pictured.

Thank God my cat immediately started using this and stopped scratching my bedroom rug. The color is exactly as indicated, light tan, and the height/depth were the perfect size.

Itll work. Its not exactly as pictured which is disappointing because I thought it was the same one I had previously. The base seems like its almost cracked in half so it leans and wobbles quite a bit. Its not great quality for the price, but the cats like it so I guess thats a plus. I just hope it holds up.

We’ve now ordered three of these cat trees at separate times. It’s the only cat tree my cats will scratch. Not only is it the right material and right size to sit unobtrusively in actively used rooms, but these are well made and very sturdy. Excellent product!

Both of my cats absolutely love this scratching post. My older cat can claw both soft and rough surfaces. My little cat enjoys hanging off of it like a monkey. I gave this product 4 stars for I know this post will begin shedding after extensive use.

The scratching post is perfect. Its woven material will take the babies a long time to tear it up.
