The instructions were okay to understand but when it came to the second instruction book don’t start using the wire yet until fully done with both instruction books because then it’s gets harder but still do-able. Also you need to drill holes in the metal poles for extra support for the shelve thingys.

Missing parts, unable to assemble

While this serves its purpose, of course their own pics make it look much classier. What it is is a converted chicken coop. You get one box with the chicken coop (the chicken wire and frame...says right on the box that it's for chickens) and a separate box with the cat platforms and supports to add on. The entire thing is flimsily held together with zipties. A cat is not a chicken, so if you have an active, squirmy guy like we do, you will use ALL the zipties they provided you, plus you will go to the hardware store for more to close up all the gaps. Laying out and cutting the wire is awkward, so you need at least two people to do it. The door requires use a of a drill, and you need a good selection of drill bits because they aren't screws, they are bolts with a pointy end, whatever that is called. The cat attachments also require a lot of fiddling and a bit of drilling to make sure they are secure. So this took us parts of five days to put together overall. I wouldn't say it's a "bad" product, since it will keep our cat inside it and the tarp does provide shade. I'm a little concerned about him sticking his paws under and pricking himself on the sharp ends of the chicken wire, but there's not much to be done about that. It's a pretty basic repurposed chicken coop is what it is.
