Great aquarium stand for my 40 gallon breeder. I’ve got 25 years in the hobby and have been through enough water-related disasters to know not to cut any corners with your stand. I’m satisfied with this one. Pros -This is actually a nice looking piece of furniture. Closed storage space means no exposed equipment and cords. Doors and drawers aligned perfectly. -No wobbles or side to side movement. You can’t tell from the photos, but there’s a metal crossbar that attaches to the tabletop and runs the length of the stand, attaching to the metal side frames. -The corners of my 40 gallon breeder sit directly on top of the metal frame. Since the corners of the tank bear the most weight, this is ideal. I can’t count the number of stands I’ve seen on Wayfair and elsewhere where the aquarium rests entirely on a pressed wood tabletop with no frame pieces directly beneath, which is a crazy design choice. -Instructions are clear, just look carefully at the diagram. Came with 1-2 extra of each hardware piece which is nice. Cons -Yeah, it’s 90 particleboard which is notoriously weakened when it gets wet. I got a piece of clear vinyl and cut it so there’s a 12” overhang all around the tabletop, so when I inevitably splash some water it will drip away from the stand. -I wish I could have put the built-in power outlet on the other side. Not a big deal but would be nice if you could switch the side pieces to allow for that. -I wish the stand had a metal crossbar on the bottom or a cross brace across the back. It seems solid enough but this would really take it to the next level. -Shelves aren’t adjustable and once you put the stand together you’re stuck with them. Others have noted if you want to use a canister filter you need to leave one out. I think they provide additional shear stability so I’m not sure I would want to do that. -Adjustable feet are plastic which is an odd choice for something holding 500lbs. Personally I would not use the feet to level the stand, I would just use wood shims. Overall I’m very pleased with this aquarium stand and recommend it!

We love it. My husband said it was a little bit of a pain to put together and align the doors, but it’s very sturdy and great quality. I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been using this aquarium stand tor a couple months now. Overall, it looks fantastic. The design is sleek, modern, and very clean. It’s also extremely sturdy and easily supports the weight of my aquarium with no wobbling. In terms of stability, it’s honestly better than many aquarium stands I’ve owned. Right now I only have a 20 gal long on this stand but I plan to put a 40 gal breeder in the near future. The assembly of this stand wasn’t too difficult. I assembled it by myself in about 2 hrs, though it would be best to assume it will take up to 3 hrs and having a second person would help go smoothly. Most of my thoughts are really just suggestions for improving an already solid product. The main cabinet is divided into four smaller compartments, which I knew before purchasing, but after using it I think it would be much more practical if one side were a single tall compartment. That would make it easier to fit equipment like a CO₂ system or other taller aquarium gear and would make the storage space much more versatile. Unfortunately as is, you aren’t really able to have your CO2 system in these cabinets. additional cable pass-through holes between the compartments could also be very useful. The only area that actually feels lacking is the top pull-out drawers. The drawer slides feel very inexpensive and don’t open or close smoothly. Upgrading the drawer hardware and adding soft-close slides would make a HUGE difference and would better match the otherwise solid construction. Overall, it’s been a great stand that has held up well. If the storage layout were a little more versatile and the drawer hardware were upgraded, I would have absolutely recommend this as one of the best aquarium stand out there.

Beautiful stand BUT tough to assemble alone. Also, the drawers aren’t flush with the cabinets. Still gave 5 stars because i happen to think it’s really nice!

This stand has been perfect for my 20 gallon tank. I’m looking forward to upgrading to a 50 gallon tank and using it for that one too. I’ll just have to get a new stand for my 20 gallon.
