Can’t guarantee your cats won’t also scratch on furniture but I can guarantee that they will scratch on this! I have had multiple cats scratching on this for months and will absolutely replace it when they finally destroy it entirely. LOL

I was disappointed in the picture it looks like a scratcher chair it is a scratcher board, I paid too much just for a board.
