Takeaway Love the final result and cats appear to be intrigued as well. Candor The wood finish appears smoother in online photos but is more rough (somewhere between plywood grade and finished furniture smoothness). You’re likely not going to get splinters putting it together, but you may notice a few imperfections on edges appearing. If I had the time and was sufficiently motivated, I would have put some kind of sealant on the wood so it will not wear as quickly. Getting there Assembly was a challenge. Pieces were all there, but instructions leave some clarity to be desired. I powered through one stubborn turn of the Allen wrench at a time. I’m sure if I had the right drill bit to replace need for Allen wrench, it would have taken a fraction of the time and effort.

My cats love this! We liked it. They were multiple options for configuration not too bad to put together. The boxes is quite heavy.

Kind of tough to assemble but so worth it, cats love it and it is natural wood, not particle board or mdf.
