This little cage is a good price, but Too Small for Adult Hamsters and wont keep them from getting out. I suggest if you buy this for a baby hamster that you buy little zip ties to secure the walls together. Also, this is way too small for a guinea pig or rabbit unless it is a baby (false advertisement) and misleading, sorry!

Cute as a freaking button !! Perfect size for One field type (very small) mouse habitat. A gerbil or two could use this as a transportation device to the vet and back, but not as a home habitat. The package that arrived was excellently wrapped, and reminded me of getting books by mail, with the mouse house parts disarticulated the package is quite small. Looking at the cage now out of the box and put together, I'd say two half gallon cartons of milk stood together would be the cage size in height and length , with a little more room across the depth. Just one concern, this being my first attempt at being a mouse mom and all. The exercise wheel. When putting the two halves together, there are gaps in the plastic, right in the middle of the running path. I worry that toes will get caught, which would make me very upset if my pet mouse (named Mouszer, middle name Mousey) should ever be hurt. I think I will either buy a new and better wheel, or try to make the one I have with this package safer.

It's a fine cage for one hamster, neither high nor low quality. The only thing that bothered me is that the running wheel never worked at all, it was very cheap and poorly designed, never did any spinning and falls right off anytime the hamster gets in it. It is not a very big cage, the pic makes it look bigger than actual size, the little hut goes to the top of the cage and we can't have the lid on it, which is ok cause we like to watch the hamster eat in there. Luckily hamsters only live a couple years cause so will this cage.
