• All patterns match but are freehand painted subtle variations will occur ensuring each bowls authenticity
• Each bowl is thrown and moulded from raw "Lead-Free" clay then prepped to be properly cured using a two-bake ceramic firing process. Both bakes are done in a high-fire kiln at 1200-1500 degrees F* ensure a dense and durable ceramic bowl, the 2nd bake is done at the same high temperature. Before the 2nd bake the artwork is hand-painted with great detail as well the glaze is tediously applied to all areas of each bowl. This glossy glaze protects the ceramic and the hand-painted Talavera artwork(allowing it to be both water and intense heatproof). The finish also draws out all of the colours and provides a true life long shine.
