Super cute chicken coup, but not very strongly built. I hired another builder to firm up the structure and add additional supports. I also fully repainted it with outdoor paint, sealed the seams, and added "real" galvanized hardware cloth to the exterior. Also replaced the main latch on the door. I live in the woods and need the chicken run to be predator proof. This one needed a lot of additional TLC to do the job.

This pen worked out great for my 6 girls. I did not have enough room in my coop for them to forage so I attached this to my coop. It has two removeable back panels that I was able to use to connect the pen to my coop. I did use a water treatment on it as that will lengthen the life of it. The partial roof coverage helps as it gives the girls an area to get out of the sun.
