I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home.. Overall it’s a decent cage. It’s attractive, and I believe my Senegal Parrot (Zazoo) will enjoy it. We are moving to a new house in a different city and hour away. Zazoo turns 25 this year, and we wanted a more affordable cage incase he is near the end of his lifespan. We hope he’ll like his new home. received this cage in perfect condition but..... not same as picture from Wayfair, a &e site or any site. instead of having round wire on top dome part, it was flat square. and not all smooth. I was scared for my quaker parrot s feet . also missing parts and the caster wheels were all plastic instead of metal. the space of wiring was bigger than the specifications. cage different than advertised. a&e confirmed that I received the right cage model but all the advertisement are with the wrong picture. so with all that I decided to return for full refund . very disappointed and it s very inconvenient.Wayfair are always a big help though. through all that they are always supportive. excellent customer service. special thank you to Jocelyne (supervisor). Fabulous cage, but just like many of the other reviews (which I read before purchasing), my cage and it's components also came bent. That was slightly disappointing, considering how much it costs. However, the metal is bendable, so I was able to straighten the legs and one bowl holder that arrived bent. The legs of the stand now look normal, but the bowl holder doesn't look 100%, although I was able to make it fit the bowl. Otherwise, the cage looks great. It was easy to assemble, other than it was very difficult to put on three of the wheels bc those legs were bent. I ended using a cloth and a hammer to get those in place.
