My dogs loved this bed but it was a little flat. It was also one of my dog's favorite chew toys he loved to pull all of the stuffing out which probably didn't make it any better. My 173 lb. Great Pyrenees is so very picky about his beds! I thought he would love a big, orthopedic, foam mattress, but he refused to lie in it! He would lay on the floor right next to it! I bought one with a bolster, then one without a bolster. After observing him more closely I noticed that he had trouble navigating the thick foam so I purchased this thinner bed with only a thin layer of memory foam and it was a winner!
