I was super excited about these pet stairs for my cat... My dog was super excited to use them regardless of my intentions. Always the favorite, I sometimes take it outside to put in my cat enclosure when I have my indoor cats outside (so I can clean the house). I strap the tree to a corner with those hooked rubberband devices. This holds it steady when cats crawl all over it at once. The 'legs' are a favorite for cat clawing. 4 stars only because of missing screw and because I didn’t examine the product thoroughly enough before buying it. The round house on the middle level is open at the top. I wouldn’t have bought this model if I had noticed this because one of my cats is elderly and she could use the extra “step” up to the 3rd level.
