I got this for my two six month old kittens (now 9 months old) and they really like their tree; they love to nap on the top perches every day. They play sometimes on it but mostly nap up high and look out the window or watch TV with me. They don't use the lower cubbies much, probably if I would have gotten it when they were younger they might have. They do use the scratching posts and it is very sturdy as it has a wide base and is fairly attractive for a cat tree as the cream color doesn't draw attention to itself and goes well with my living room.
