Tablette flottante rectangulaire en bois noir

I took a gamble buying this shelf considering the information provided, and although I have a few issues, I think it works fairly well in my space. You might note that the sizes shown in the description are impossibly wrong. It comes 16" or 24" wide, but you have to scroll down to the specifications to see that information. It's stained black, but the overall color is more of an espresso brown finish. I like the aging effects, but in the photo, the carved beading looks burnished gold or more brown, and mine wasn't. I painted over that part with a gold Sharpie, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Like most floating shelves, it hangs downward ever so slightly. I might add a decorative support brace in the center if it keeps bothering me.
