We’re mid renovation of our master bathroom and instead of getting a wooden bench for the shower I opted for this solid surface piece instead. Let me tell you there is a lot of weight to this piece. It’s an exceptional, quality piece that is true solid surface. Comes with a marker in case you get any knocks or scratches you can easily touch it up. I have tested it as a bench and it holds me and my husband without issue. I like the contemporary, sleek style of this piece. We have barn wood on our wall in the bathroom and it blends well with the rustic look of the barn wood while maintaining a Scandinavian aesthetic.

The overall shape is good but it does not sit flat in the shower. I have tried it on many surfaces and it is not flat. Otherwise it looks nice. I would not sit on it due to being unsteady.

I had this in my shower and was meticulous about wiping it down every day and still it did not hold up. The black starting chipping off a few months after purchase and worse is the water gets trapped under the bench. The bench is sturdy but its weight makes it a chore to move just to release the water held beneath. The flakely finish alone does not make it worth the cost.
