The angle you see in the picture is as far down as it goes. The instructions, the ones that are there, are really poorly written. The directions for the assembly of the fan and cage don’t exist. I put the fan on backwards since I didn’t know the direction of the rotation. You need a ladder to turn the oscillation on and off when mounted and the pull chain is about 4 inches long and they put a string extension on it. The string got sucked into the fan after about 2 minutes of running. I give the mounting bracket a year or less as it is made from plastic and light sheet metal.

This fan was loud, and did not work properly. Got stuck in one positon when oscillating. But Wayfair was awesome in regards to returning, and getting a full credit for purchase.

Works great for out patio. Not super loud. Definitely worth it.

Batting 500 - one fan works as it should, one fan will not oscillate. Cannot determine this malfunction until the fan is completely assembled and installed. It took the electrician about 45 minutes to an hour to assemble and install. He re-checked everything to make sure it was done correctly and stated that the fan appeared to have a loose part inside the motor. Maybe something happened during shipment, maybe not. Item did seem to be packaged well. Just left the fan as is bc I didn't want to add to the frustration of paying the electrician to remove, repackage, return, re-install, etc. It does blow air.
