There is tradition in keeping what can be fixed. I never want to have to give up on anything. If I couldn’t find the part I would have broken my value system. So happy Kohler assists in restoring the parts that keep our oldies goodies.

I spent a large sum of money on one of these to replace a failed assembly. The new one sort of worked for a few years but now it's failing too. The mechanism that drops the ball valve is inherently unreliable; it keeps sticking open causing water to run continuously into my septic system. You need to create a replacement that's designed with proper engineering. I'm going to see if there is an aftermarket solution. I am definitely NOT ever buying this part again.
