This is a quality faucet set, and it has a versatile, appealing look. I did end up needing to order the valve even though my plumber originally thought the handles at least would just pop in and out - it was not compatible with my existing set-up. If your remodel is time-sensitive, it's probably best to order the valve set with it. In all likelihood you'll need it. I also called Kohler to verify this is indeed made in the USA (their Wisconsin factory). Sometimes Kohler packs their items in boxes that are made and stamped in China, so it can be confusing.

Contemporary design that just compliments the bathtub. Didn't come with the deck mount valve, so beware when buying it! Make sure all parts are ordered!
