Somewhat easy to install. Follow instruction and definitely spray with soap/water like suggests. There's a fine between too little and too much spray and I found too much makes it slip all over and take forever to stick and too little leaves no room for adjusting. I had newer paint and still wiped with alcohol to make sure it stuck, which it mostly did. I had no cutting to do, just the exact dimensions. The backsplash looks nice and like stainless steel even though it's not, but the included side trim pieces are why I took a star off. They're aluminum and don't match. They're a different color, a much brighter silver. The trim strips also did not adhere very well even after again cleaning the new tiles with rubbing alcohol. They're lifting off in a few spots, so that's annoying. I used this in a guest house that won't get a lot of use so it's okay, but they'd probably need to be reattached with a better adhesive if used behind a stove that's used often and produces much heat.

Made a great backsplash! Take your time installing it, it’s not too forgiving if you make wrong placement.
