This tile was a big disappointment and had to be sent back. First of all, it's very heavy and was packed in boxes with styrofoam peanuts so the boxes of tile bounced around in the larger boxes causing a lot of breakage - see photo of how many tiles were broken in one box. Second, it's marketed as being suitable for floors and it's not - many tiles are very rough, sharp and uneven (see third photo for example of sharpness/variation). Also the thickness of the tiles varies from less than 1/4" to 1/2" making it very difficult to lay for a floor and definitely not a bathroom floor which I was planning to use it for. I would say this tile would be suitable for a backsplash if you are looking for a very rugged and rough look. Also there wasn't a lot of variation in the color - it was very dull and gray. Might look better if finished with a glaze or sealer to bring out the color. and finally, the tiles were packed without cushion/spacers so they rubbed against each other causing surface wear to the tiles. My advice would be pass and look elsewhere.

Tile is nice but, I got a lot more of the grays .I wanted more of the browns.

Just what we needed to match an existing tile backsplash. The tiles come unglazed so you have to put a finish on them, so we were able to match the finish and it looks great.
