Faux levier de porte simple Bordeau

Exactly what we needed to replace 6 year old handle for our bedroom. Local stores didn’t carry the same but Wayfair came through. Thank you!

Instructions were only for knob, hard to find for lever but ok to figure out since no lock mechanism involved. Plates were too small to latch couldn’t even use a hem, had to keep old ones.

Instructions were for a knob handle, could not find any water nline for lever with this kind of lock. Plates were too small of hole to latch. Had to use our old plates, thankfully we saved them. Handle is pretty stiff . Looks nice but Disappointed in install instructions. Didn’t use lock cuz didn’t know how to install it.

Handle is attractive enough, but the installation instructions are useless. I’m going to have to take it to the hardware store to get help figuring out how to install it.

It is similar to the Rockwell/Baldwin Chelsea door hadles. These are so similar, that you can get away with mixing with those. there are some small differences: The handle tip is "flat" in this case while the Rockwell is sculpted. The rockwell has a plastic washer where the handle woudl touch the "rose" . the "rose" is a bit thinner and less sculpted looking than the Rockwell. The lock mechaniscm itself is simpler, and has a bit rougher feel, and the finish is a touch less shiny, but you have to look hard to notice the difference. The Bordeau is a bit less than half the money, and it is a closet / passage style set, not privacy lock. If you try to get a Rockwell or Baldwin, they are hard to get, and you may end up paying more for that, than the one with the privacy lock. Reversible ( works either as lefty, or righty) .
