Modern, sleek. Not too complicated to assemble - Alert: NO assembly directions! Several surfaces had blemishes however we overlooked these in consideration more will develop over time with use. It will definitely support a solid table top (ours is 40pounds, base is rated for 90pounds). Flat floor base is very heavy, and Unexpected that the underside corners are felt slides - welcome on our recently finished wood floor. Rated 4 out of 5 for long delivery time, blemishes, no assembly diagram.
